I asked for a trial license to try the fix but it was declined. After 14 days, they said there is hotfix "DraftSight memory saturation hotfix" that could solve the problem. Technical support seems to be overseas with broken English and difficulty to read English. I sent errors logs, which helped them to identify the issue that they claimed it is now resolved in DraftSight 2022 SP1. I lost unsaved work and wasted hours restarting the application, which did cost me a few hundred dollars on billable hours. I ran it on a i7, 16GB RAM and RTX30 series (powerful computer) but the application was crashing constantly. They release a version that was broken and I used the free trial of that version not knowing it was broken.

Additionally, Batch Processing creates a separate, unique file for every page of every PDF processed, and does not combine them automatically. You may notice that the options for Insertion Point, Scale, and Rotation are not available in this mode, and as such those parameters may need to be adjusted after the fact. Though the process is similar in general, there are a few key differences as well. Confirm your selected options, then click OK to begin the conversion process. Use Select All at the bottom left of the dialog to quickly select all the documents in the identified folder. Like Insert as Block, the Batch Processing option will allow you to choose which files should be imported and which should be excluded using a simple checkbox.

If we’d like to use this drawing in its full capacity, we’ll need to use the Explode command, found in the Modify section of the Home tab or typed into the command line: Insert as Block mode is great for importing an entire drawing in PDF format but can also be used to import smaller subsets of data into existing drawings, as the result is in fact a block. If you selected Specify Later for Insertion Point, Scale, or Rotation, you’ll be prompted to input those parameters now, using either numeric keyboard inputs or by clicking in the graphics area. Once you are satisfied with your options, click OK to complete the PDF import. It should also be noted that all these options apply in the same manner when using Batch Processing mode. Likewise, a scaling factor along with a rotation angle can be specified now or after importing. Alternatively, enable the Specify Later option to position the results on-screen after the PDF has been imported. If you have a particular location at which you’d like to insert the results of the import, use the X, Y, and Z fields under Insertion Point to specify the coordinates.
